What needed solving
Wedding admin is a spreadsheet nightmare - chasing RSVPs over WhatsApp, tracking who's coming to which day, and handling gift contributions by sending banking details around. The couple wanted one link that handled all of it and looked like their invitation.
What I delivered
A fully custom Next.js site styled to the couple's stationery: story, wedding party, schedule, accommodation, FAQs and a photo gallery with a lightbox. The RSVP form captures every guest in a party and which days they're attending, with confirmation emails sent automatically. The honeymoon registry lets guests pledge specific items or a custom amount and pay through PayFast, with signed payment notifications verified server-side before a contribution is recorded. An admin area behind a login shows RSVPs and registry activity in real time and manages the registry items.
