What needed solving
Running a large ticketed event meant stitching together a ticketing site, a spreadsheet seating plan, a WhatsApp group for changes and a clipboard at the door. Double-bookings were common, nobody knew which spots were still open, and reconciling payments against attendees took days.
What I delivered
A custom platform built around a real-time interactive floor plan: the organiser draws the venue layout and seat zones in an admin editor, and visitors select and reserve specific spots that lock instantly while they pay through the ticketing gateway. Payment confirmations arrive by webhook, seats update live for everyone on the site, automated emails go out at each stage, and QR codes get scanned at the entrance. A reporting dashboard tracks sales, occupancy and revenue as it happens.
